Jorgensen is pleased to announce that the Facilities Services Division, in partnership with NTVI (an Alaska Native Corporation), has been awarded a contract for facilities management for the Government Services Administration (GSA) headquarters building beginning on October 1st. Located at 1800 F Street NW Washington, D.C., the 820,000 SF building incorporates the challenges of historic sections as well as new construction and ongoing renovations and is the GSA’s flagship facility. The one-year contract, with four option years, represents the Division’s first success in Federal Government sector work in nearly a decade. Jorgensen will assume responsibility for five of the project’s twelve incumbent staff members, including the Assistant Chief Engineer and four technical tradesmen. Robert Fisher will provide ongoing higher level management of the account, with semi-monthly onsite inspections.
