Building Automation System
Jorgensen’s Building Automation System reduces a company’s costs by allowing remote monitoring and management of key building systems from a central location. Individual offices and rooms can be monitored and adjusted for climate control, saving not only energy costs, but also significantly reducing overhead by allowing a single user to manage several buildings at the same time.

Although most building automation systems are typically utilized for controlling HVAC only, Jorgensen’s system brings an edge. Jorgensen employs a BacNet compliant system, which delivers two benefits. First, a BacNet compliant system can interface with any other BacNet compliant device (such as a chiller). This allows an organization to competitively bid for replacement devices among several vendors, instead of being limited to only that vendor whose system interfaces with the building automation system. Second, a BacNet compliant system can be used to monitor and control several other systems in addition to HVAC, such as lighting systems, fire protection systems, and security systems. This increased functionality provides Jorgensen clients with additional cost savings and improvements.
